Johan Lidros, CISA, CISM, ITIL-F
Johan Lidros is President of Transcendent group and has over seventeen (17) years of experience as a project leader or practice leader for IT security or IT risk management projects. He has worked with multinational companies in the Sweden and the United States such as Trelleborgm Esselte, ITT, SKF, Merck, Daiwa, and GTE.
Johan has facilitated and presented a vast number of seminars and courses on the topics of IT audits, risk management, and security. He also instructs certification preparation courses for the CISA and CISM examinations. With his vast knowledge and real work experience, Johan is able to bring a level of understanding into the classroom that is unparalleled.
Johan earned his B.S. in Economic Science from Stockholm University. He is a board member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Florida, a previous board member of the information security accreditation committee at SWEDAC (Swedish Department of Accreditation), LIS (BS7799 taskforce – Sweden) and ISACA Sweden (Information System Audit & Control Association). He is a member of the Computer Security Institute (CSI), ISACA, Information System Security Association (ISSA), and American Society for Industrial Security, American Bankers Association, Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Scandinavian Baltic Trade Association.
Jerry Riddle, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CAP, CCSE, CCSA, CCNA, CCDP, CCNP, CCEA, CCI, CCA, CNE, MCSD, MCDBA, MCT, MCSA, MCSE+I, ITIL-F, VCP
Jerry Riddle is the Vice President of IT Security Services with Transcendent Group. Mr. Riddle has a strong security and IT Governance background. Prior to joining Transcendent Group, he ran Data Management Systems in Clearwater, Florida, for about 12 years, which focused on IT security projects, integration services, IT Governance and IT security training. He has conducted business the areas of Education, Insurance, Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Governmental, and Military. Jerry is a published author of books in the field of Citrix and Citrix Security.
Jerry earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Science, his graduate and undergraduate degrees all from Pacific University. Jerry has earned over a dozen IT/security- related certifications including the following: CISSP, CISA, CCSE, CISM, CCNP, CCDA, MCSD, CCEA/CCI, MCSE+I. He has conducted more than 100 security training classes during his career, and is considered one of the premier technical instructors in the area. He has authored and presented courses in the areas of Certification Preparation for Citrix, CISSP, SSCP, CISA, CISM, and Cisco exams.
Jerry has also conducted private and custom courses for organizations in both the private and public sectors on topics such as basic security practices to those that were focused specifically on an organizations environment and needs.
Fredrik Söderblom, CCSE, CCSA
Fredrik Söderblom is a Senior Security Advisor with Transcendent Group. Mr. Söderblom has been working in the IT industry for more than 20 years, and has been involved with the Internet and security since 1992, when he designed and implemented the first firewall for Hewlett Packard in northern Europe. He joined HP as a systems engineer at the Swedish customer response center in 1991, working mainly with compiler and kernel support. In 1995 he joined the Professional Services Organization as a senior security consultant, where he was part of forming the network security consultant group for Europe. Prior to joining HP, he worked 7 years as a programmer for Databolin, a Swedish software company.
Mr. Söderblom has designed and implemented various network perimeter security solutions in Europe and the United States, as well as performed numerous security audits.
Mr. Söderblom regularly teaches various classes in computer and network security and is also contracted yearly as a guest speaker in computer security (classes 6b2021 and 6b2940) for the Royal Institute of Technology (http://kth.se) in Sweden.
Mr. Söderblom was invited as a speaker at BCS 2007 in Jakarta and as a guest speaker for the Higher Education on Information Security education in Sweden, and has as well been a speaker and moderator at Sweden's main conference for Internet related matters “Internet dagarna” for several years.
Peter Norin, CCSE, CCSA, MCSE+I
Peter Norin is a Senior Security Advisor with Transcendent Group. Mr. Norin has over 12 years of industry experience as a Security and system administrator. He has acquired an extremely deep knowledge regarding FW-1 and Provider-1 through long term engagements in very sophisticated customer environments in terms of multiple and/or redundant perimeter security solutions at multiple locations. Peter's skillful approach, background knowledge and experience from working on some of the largest Checkpoint installations in Sweden has led to him being considered one of the foremost skilled security professionals in respect to Checkpoint's products. Being a senior system administrator, Peter has additionally developed a deep knowledge in network infrastructure and advanced network design, advanced routing (BGP), IDS/IPS et al.
